Michael is only one ally, his defense attorney and longtime friend, VERONICA DONOVAN (Robin Tunney) – who also happens to be Lincoln’s former girlfriend. Meanwhile, Lincoln’s 15-year-old son, LJ (Marshall Allman), is now adrift without his Uncle Michael’s positive influence on his life. Rounding out the cast is DR. SARA TANCREDI (Sarah Wayne Callies), whom Michael ends up visiting the prison infirmary more than he should; the senior correctional officer BELLICK (Wade Williams), who is determined to keep a very close eye on his new prisoner, and the powerful WARDEN POPE (Stacy Keach), who forges a close, almost father-son relationship with the new convict
Since the pickup was announced, a few details and clues where surfaced in the trades. For example, viewers can expect the addition of at least four cast members (two men, two women, none American), says Variety, and Schering hinted to the Hollywood Reporter the one of the brothers — either Wentworth Miller’s Michael or Dominic Purcell’s Lincoln — might not survive beyond the new season’s first couple of episodes. A builder gets himself incarcerated to the engineer the escape of his death-row brother, who was framed for killing the vice president’s brother. Since the ongoing writers’ strike has halted the production on the TV’s most loved prime-time series, the return of the jailbird drama series is an very exciting prospect for fans alike. Although it has only a few new episodes remain to air before the show takes an indefinite hiatus, anxious couch potatoes can rejoice in watching it with some fresh storylines unfold. For newcomers who are dying to hop on the Prison Break bandwagon, the following guide is a crash course in what happened so far. Michael Scofield enters a Fox River State Penitentiary in the hopes of breaking out his brother Lincoln Burrows, who is facing an execution for a crime he didn’t commit.

ABC has only recently announced the popular series Lost would be ending after three more 16-episode seasons – ample time, fans hope, to cleanly wrap up the convoluted story of the plane crash survivors. The series has been criticized for seemingly leading loyal views on.
For the producers of Prison Break, the same reasons apply. Fox released a statement not too long ago that the 4th season of the jailbreak series would be its last. In an interview here, Prison Break executive producer Zack Estrin revealed that they long had the feeling the series would be ended by Fox, and have subsequently adjusted the story so that they would have a good and solid ending when the time came. Estrin stated that to continue the story and stretch it would be “irresponsible”.
t seems as if the story wouldn’t end but announcement from FOX’s Kevin Reilly have solidified the fears of many who have been following the four year old saga that delves into the lives of our favorite Prison escapees. The show is to end which may be due to the worsening economy and the network might simply be cutting losses with shows that are not quite making the mark. Corporate insists that this is not the case, and go on by simply stating that the story has gone out and the flame is dying. Reilly said at a press gathering in LA. :
“We didn’t just give it the hook,” he told a gathering of TV critics in Los Angeles. “The show is just played out.”

This might be a good thing for how long can a story of two guys and their friends who want to either escape or prove innocence in the face of mother justice, with cops and almost everybody else after them go on. This might also be a nice thing to do for unlike some other TV series shows that might never end! (you guess which is which).
