Head counts keep requiring Michael to be back in his cell at regular intervals, and the interruptions are making it impossible for him to finish his work. Sucre tells him that the guards don’t bother with counts when there’s a lock-down, so what he did was to disable the air conditioner circuits on his next trip out. With the temperature rising, the cons start causing trouble, and a lock-down was announced. Unfortunately for Michael, tempers have already flared past the boiling point, and a riot breaks out before the cells can be closed. Unmindful to the chaos going on, Michael and Sucre go behind the wall together to continue working on drilling through one of the last walls to an abandoned sewer line. Though, one guard escorting Lincoln, gets caught by the prisoners and dragged back to general population. In the course of preparing to torture and kill the beaten man, Teabag (as well as the guard) unknowingly discovers the hole in Michael’s wall. Prison Break the Series

The series was pitched to executives of the networks as an hour-long continuing saga of structural engineer Michael Scofield who was at the start of the series seen in the process of committing a bank heist. After allowing himself to be captured, he was convicted to serve five years at Fox River Penitentiary where coincidentally his brother Lincoln Burrows was also serving time at Death Row waiting for his execution.

Lincoln was convicted of murdering the brother of the Vice President of the United States. Scofield supposedly arranged that he be incarcerated in the same prison with the purpose of helping his brother escape from a prison which incidentally Scofield himself help design. For his escape plan to work, the help of other inmates was necessary.
